Simple things matter. Yes, even the simplest of things and actions can effectively show that it matters and should be given due recognition and importance. To not give it its due would be a complete mistake, and not to mention a major oversight. It would also mean neglecting one of the more important and yet practical things that we could do with respect to the things that we use and are always around us.
Well that is certainly not something that we would like to do, given how many simple things or items we make use of every day of our lives. It might also be a reason for regret later on, when that thing which we conveniently took for granted turned out to be more useful than we thought.
Take the case of music and musical instruments, for instance. Music is a very rich subject, both full of history and the details and the intricacies that are associated with it as an art form.
If you look at it that way, then you might cast a doubt as to whether music has any simplistic aspects to it that might be considered important and crucial to a certain type of music or musical instrument. But the truth is that there are indeed simple matters worth knowing about, like how to hang a violin on the wall. Yes, hanging a violin on a wall is indeed as simple an act as can be, and yet carries with it a certain importance and significance.
Hanging a Violin on a Wall
Hanging a violin on a wall might not seem all that important at first glance, and to some extent that assumption is correct. It is indeed just a simple matter, but still, it means something and in the long run contributes something other than being a random and simple act.
• If your violin is going to be hung on a wall and happens to have pegs on it, then you will make use of some hanging wire and make a loop around the scroll. Secure it by tying a tight knot. Make sure that it is simply a tight knot and not too tight around the scrolls. You may use pliers for this.
• A second option, and also a much safer one, would be to do exactly the same, but this time around the pegs and not the scroll.
• On the other hand, if your violin does not have pegs, then the thing to do would be to take the hanging wire and then feed it right through the peg holes. The next thing to do would be to secure it tightly, tying a knot with the use of pliers.
Of course you don't just want to hang your violin on the wall. You might also want to learn how to play violin so you can showcase your talent on the instrument. If that is the case, one of the things you'll likely want is to buy your violin from one of the best violin makers so your instrument can last as long as you do.
